Planning Meeting
Vestry member,
ministry chairs and all other parish leaders are needed at the fall
planning meeting! St. Andrew's is a busy place and planning our schedule
early helps ensure that each ministry gets time for its special events.
The meeting will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) after the Eucharist (at
6:30pm).

Products
As warm weather
approaches, the Outreach committee reminds us that our beautiful St
Andrew's polo and tee shirts are ready to wear. We have a large supply
of polos, tees( for children), tote bags and aprons all priced very
well. These were developed to give visibility to St Andrew's at various
events such as crop walk, Love Thy Neighborhood community dinners,
diocesan events, charitable walks, parish "Shirt Sunday", and at our
annual end- of - the summer picnic, etc. The products will be available
during coffee hour after Sunday services.You can obtain them from any
Outreach committee member or call Lee Cameron at 489-2487
Food Pantry
For many years St.
Andrew's has been a partner in the FOCUS Food Pantry, which works to
eliminate hunger in our community. In 2009 the FOCUS Food Pantry
distributed groceries for over 108,000 meals! There is a basket for
donations at the front of the church - toiletries and personal care
items are especially appreciated as these are not obtainable with Food
Stamps. An even better way to support FOCUS is with a monetary donation,
which can be used to buy groceries in bulk at low cost. Just place a
check in the collection plate (you can make it out to St. Andrew's with
"FOCUS Food Pantry" in the memo line) and the church will pass it on to
the Food Pantry.
