Explore St. Andrew's

Wondering where the Gerber Library is? The Shop? Wish you knew more about our stained glass windows? Our first "Explore St. Andrew's" event will be held after the Service this Sunday. Newcomers especially may want to join this short tour of the Church and learn some interesting history and information about St Andrew's. We will begin at about 11:20 a.m. in the Church and end about 12:15. If you are a newcomer to the parish or just curious about the church we invite you to join us.

Help for The Shop

The Shop is in need of paper bags with handles - if you have any please bring them to The Shop (Tuesday 10 - 3, Saturday 10 - 1). Also, if you can volunteer to work in The Shop for a shift, please contact Wendy Brandow (767-0716), Lisa Walker (439-6017) or call the office at 489-4747.

Interfaith Service 

The St. Andrew's Congregational Circle invites all parish members to attend the 2010 Capital Pride Week Interfaith Service which will take place this Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Church in Albany. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Special Events

A volunteer is needed to coordinate our two summer Hospitality events - Hat Sunday and Pie Sunday. Everyone loves special Sundays! Can you help make sure these events aren't cancelled? The coordinator needs to publicize the event, plan for any needed supplies, set and clean up. Feel free to be creative in your approach to things! Recruit as many helpers as you want - you don't have to do it all by yourself. What's important is that we have at least one person making sure these events come off as planned. If you are able to help out please contact the Parish Office.

Youth Sunday

Each year we celebrate the end of the Sunday School year with a special focus on our young people and an ice cream feast. Come help honor the Sunday School graduates at the 10 a.m. service this Sunday and stay for an ice cream sundae after!
