Congratulations to Emily Mary Prest, Mollie Gail McMillen and Ryan Robert Ackert and their families. Mollie, Emily and Ryan were baptized yesterday at St. Andrew's. Both Ryan and Emily are the latest in long lines of St. Andrew's members —Ryan is the fourth generation to be baptized from the Mosall/Ackert family. Emily is a third generation member from the Prest/Eden  family.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make our home a showpiece by weeding the gardens, pruning bushes, raking leaves and mowing the lawn. We are truly overwhelmed by all the acts of kindness we have experienced during these past months and want everyone to know how much your cards, prayers, hospital/home visits, rides to doctor's appointments/church and meals have meant to us! We also wish to thank Reverend Mary for always being there when we needed her most — to comfort us with prayer, a hug or just to brighten Norm's day at the hospital. From the minute Norm and I entered St. Andrew's almost three years ago, we knew that this church was special. Little did we realize just how much its congregation would become like family to us.

Pledge cards should be returned by the end of May. You may drop them in the offertory plate this coming Sunday or mail them to the Parish Office.

Come Tuesday night and lend a hand to help make prayer quilts! Prayers and Squares produces the lovely prayer quilts sent out by St. Andrew's. Volunteers to help with the quilts are always needed. The group meets this Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.

Worship at St. Andrew's is immeasurable enhanced by the work of Dr. Eppink and the members of the Choir. After the 10 a.m. service Sunday June 13th we'll hold a special coffee hour celebration to thank the choir members for their hard work and dedication this past year.
