Please add to your prayer list: John, Jay, Emily, Lincoln

food PantryMother's Day Food Drive

This year St. Andrew's will be celebrating Mother's Day with a food drive to support the Focus Food Pantry.  We are asking parishioners to bring a bag of groceries to church on Mother's Day, or earlier that week.  These donations will be part of our offering on Mother's Day

Celebrate Earth Day on Sunday

As stewards of God’s creation we are called to care for the Earth. We will help care for our patch of ground after the 10:00 a.m. service this Sunday – come help beautify St Andrew’s! Jobs of every size and skill are available, tools will be provided.

Easter Egg Hunt egg hunt

The children of the parish will celebrate the Easter season with an Egg Hunt after the 10:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday.

Forward Day by Day

Forward Day by Day is a publication of the Episcopal Church which presents short, daily devotional messages based on the daily lectionary. Beginning this Tuesday members of St. Andrew's will be receiving these messages via e-mail. If you do not wish to receive Forward Day by Day by e-mail please contact the parish office (you may reply to this e-mail) and you will be removed from the list.

Prayer Teams

We continue the new ministry begun during Lent of offering  prayer teams each Sunday at the back of the church during the 10:00 am communion time. The teams are there to pray with people about their expressed needs. This is a time for prayer for guidance, healing or any other concerns - simply identify your prayer concern and we will pray with you. Your prayer concern is confidential and because we are not counselors, we ask you to state your prayer need briefly.

cookie_chocolatechipSunday Goodies

Everyone enjoys the home-made treats which are offered at coffee hour on Sundays. The Hospitality Committee invites you to share your own home-made favorites with your friends at St. Andrew's! All sorts of treats are welcome, simply leave what you have brought in the kitchen before the service and John and Jeff will take care of the rest.

Mesi!

Mesi means thank you in Creole, the language of Haiti. A big mesi goes out to everyone who worked so hard to make Saturday night's concert and dinner in support of the Haiti Mission a success. Over 100 people came to enjoy the music and food and over $1,000 was raised. Special thanks goes to Joseph Eppink and Richard Putorti for leading the music and Dorothy Johnson for coordinating the dinner.

Please be sure to keep Edge Bagg and the other members of the mission team leaving this Thursday in your prayers while they are in Haiti.
