Russell Field Concert
Russell Field Concert
Series - Stabat Mater by Rheinberger. Join our
choir and the choirs of Christ Church, the Albany Gay Men's Chorus and
the College of St. Rose Women's Chorale as they perform this work in
addition to their own pieces. Todd Sisley will be the organist and
Dr. Joseph Eppink will be the conductor. March 7, 4 p.m.
Adult Faith Formation
THE ADULT FORUM for Lent continues each
morning with LIVING THE QUESTIONS a progressive approach to
understanding the Christian faith. Meeting at 11:30 in Gerber Library.
THE BENEDICTINE EXPERIENCE Group continues to meet on
Tuesdays at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. You are welcome to join us at any time.
The group will begin reading a new book this Lent, Pilgrim
Road, a Benedictine Journey Through Lent. Bring a sandwich and
join us in learning the Rule of St Benedict.
Lenten Prayer Retreat
A
PRAYER WORKSHOP for LENT will be held on Saturday, March 6. Similar to
our Advent event we meet at 9am for Morning Prayer and Coffee and then
break into small groups for Anglican Prayer Beads, Personal Labyrinth or
Prayer Mandalas. Sign up at the Information table. We end by 12 noon.
Easter Altar Flowers
THE FLOWER GUILD will
again decorate the church with beautiful lilies and flowers for Easter.
Donations as memorials or thanksgivings are needed. Envelops are
available at the church doors. please indicate how you would like the
information to read in the Easter Sunday flower listings.
